Funeral services for Bernice Symonds, 94, of Cumberland, will be Wednesday at 11 am at the United Methodist Church in Cumberland.  Burial in the Victoria Township Cemetery south of Massena.  A luncheon will be held after the burial at the Cumberland Community Building.  Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the services on Wednesday.  Memorials may be made in her name to the Cumberland United Methodist Church or the New Homestead in Guthrie Center.  Survivors include:  Daughters, Patricia Jackson of West Des Moines and Shirley Stephenson of Lake Panorama.  Sons, Robert Symonds of Council Bluffs and Richard Symonds of Omaha, Nebraska.  9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
