UnityPoint Clinic-Greene County will officially open at Greene County Medical Center on Monday, May 18th.

Along with the opening of the new clinic will also be when advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) Sara Fleecs will start seeing patients.  She received her undergraduate degree from Grand View University and her graduate degree from Briar Cliff University before being board certified as an ARNP.  She previously worked as a provider at a UnityPoint Clinic in Fort Dodge in Family Medicine.  Appointments can be scheduled beginning May 18 by calling (515) 386-0500.

Less than a year ago, the Board of Trustees for the medical center voted to terminate its lease agreement with McFarland Clinic and signed an agreement with UnityPoint Clinic.

As far as the new addition to the medical center, the expansion project remains on track to open by mid-to-late July.
