Now is the time to register for the Guthrie Center Library’s summer reading program. This year’s theme is about superheroes. There is a program for preschoolers and a program for kindergarteners through fourth graders. The weekly preschool session begins on June 12th and the kindergarten through 4th grade session begins on June 9th. Head Librarian Pat Sleister says to register even if your child can’t attend every week. “If you can’t be at the program every time, that’s okay. Sign up and come when you can.”
The program is free and open to the public. For more information or to register, call the library at 641-747-8110.
