The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. They met with resident Jim Scott about a gate in the ditch near his property in rural Dodge Township. Scott told the Supervisors that the gate, installed by an estranged neighbor, limits him from gaining access to his property. County Engineer Josh Sebern will see if the gate is in the public right-of-way or on Scott’s neighbor’s property. If it is on the neighbor’s property, then the Supervisors say Scott will likely need to contact his neighbor or an attorney to resolve the issue.
