The Perry boys soccer team overcame an early deficit Thursday night to defeat 7th ranked Pella 2-1 in a double shootout.   Perry surrendered an early first minute goal but was able to recover and put in the equalizer with a little more than 4 minutes to go on a goal from Jesus Rodriguez.  After two scoreless overtime frames, the game went to a shoot out.  Perry goalkeeper Jorge Soto kept the Dutch out of the net twice while Javier Miranda scored the eventual game winning penalty kick to give Perry the hard fought road win.  Perry improves to 13-3 amd will travel to Indianola tonight for the regular season finale.
