The No. 12 ADM/Van Meter girls soccer team closed the regular season with its third consecutive win, a 4-1 over Indianola.
The Raccoon River Conference champion Tigers (12-4) got two goals from sophomore Sydney Bertman (14) and one score a piece from Silvia Angel (1) and Emily Hofmann (15).
Bertman got ADM going early with a goal five minutes in, assisted by Sydney Canney. The Tigers scored three of their four goals in the first half, the other two Angel’s unassisted score and Hofman’s goal of an assist from Allie Cook.
In the second half, Hofmann found Bertman for the sophomore’s second goal of the night.
The Tigers get the next week off to prepare for the playoffs, as they’ll host a second-round Class 2A regional playoff game at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, against the winner of Perry and Des Moines-Hoover.
