Whether you own a canine or not, the Humane Society of Perry and Perry Area Chamber of Commerce invite everyone to the fourth annual Dog Park Celebration this weekend.

Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says the event has become a fun spring tradition.

“This dog park is a premiere dog park.  It sources people from multiple counties, its fun to go down there and just see the license plates sometimes.  Get out there and just check it out.  If you haven’t seen the facility, I don’t know why.  Maybe you’re new or you live under a rock but get down there and celebrate this great amenity that Perry has and say thanks to the Humane Society for all they do.”

It all takes place at the Perry Dog Park Saturday from 11am-2pm.  The Raccoon Valley Radio “Big Red Radio” will be broadcasting live throughout the celebration.  There will also be a dedication of the new shelter house, make and take dog toys, a plant sale, microchipping services, raffles and tons of pet related information.
