West Central Valley’s head softball coach says that he’s expecting the West Central Activities Conference to be extra competitive this season. The Wildcats open their season tonight with a home opener against Woodward-Granger, one of the teams Ken Cox expects to be really good. “I think as always, we always have a pretty tough conference. We all will be in there battling for the lead. We always have Earlham, Woodward-Granger, Ogden are good, Des Moines Christian. We’re expecting to improve on our record too.”
First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at West Central Valley High School.
