One Guthrie County team is named in the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association’s preseason rankings. Coon Rapids-Bayard is named as the 7th best team in Class 1-A. The Crusaders finished last season with a 25-8 record and lost just four seniors to graduation. A couple of West Central Activities Conference teams were named as well. Des Moines Christian received votes in the Class 2-A rankings and Van Meter received votes in the Class 1-A rankings.
