Compared to the last couple weeks, this past one was quite dry here in the Raccoon River Valley.

According to the National Weather Service, Jefferson saw 0.37 inch of precipitation since our last report.  Perry received another 0.16 inch of rain and Guthrie Center saw 0.18 inch.

Normal monthly rainfall amounts for the month of June are 4.9 inches in Jefferson, and 5.1 inches in both Perry and Guthrie Center.
