A program which allows parents to bond with their children over a meal and storytime will be returning to Guthrie Center’s public library next Monday night. Head Librarian Pat Sleister says families get a lot for the $10 it costs to sign up for the six-week family storyteller program. “They’ve got all kinds of good activities planned for that. You get books and activity packets and of course that meal. Lots of fun activities for both children and parents.” The program will take place Monday nights at 6 p.m. beginning next week. For more information or to register, call 641-747-2276. Sleister will be our guest today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County to talk more about upcoming events at the library. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com .
