As previously reported by Raccoon Valley Radio, State Representative Clel Baudler has been pushing a bill which would raise penalties for those using and distributing synthetic drugs. Up until a couple of weeks ago, Baudler was confident that bill was going to become a law. That hope died on Friday when his bill had not been passed prior to the session adjourning. Baudler says he was highly upset at the decision. “To say I was disappointed was an understatement. To say I was mad is a correct statement.”
Baudler says he plans to reintroduce the bill next year.
