Once again, there’s no excuse to say there’s nothing going on in Perry.
There’s a free outdoor concert coming up Friday that brings together some local talent with some well-known Des Moines musicians.
Retired Perry School Superintendent and now Chief Administrative Officer at the Perry Lutheran Home and a member of the City Council Dr. Randy McCaulley and former Perry United Methodist Church minister Dr. David Swinton will perform in the Hotel Pattee’s Soumas Court Friday evening.
McCauley and Swinton will be joined by Steve Dressel and Greg Freier who will help them entertain attendees with popular music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
The event takes place from 6-9pm and there’s no cost to attend.
