The temporary phone service issues in Jefferson have been resolved.
Police Chief Dave Morlan says Jefferson Telecom has fixed the problem and so local calls and 911 calls from landlines are now going through.
Earlier today, a notice was put out about residents not being able to make local calls from landline phones or dialing 911. However, all communications are now back up and running.
The cause of the problem has not been determined.
Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
