West Central Valley’s Miceal-Ann Wathne has been named to the Iowa Girl’s Athletic Coaches Association’s All-Academic Soccer team. The defender’s skilled play was a part of the reason for the Valley girl’s success on the pitch this season, on the way to a 13-3 record. The team was just a couple of wins shy of making it to the state tournament.
