Approximately a dozen local musicians showed up to the first Western Iowa Folk Alliance jam session in Guthrie Center last month. Organizer Nancita Wernett hopes the group sees continued growth when they hold their second meeting next week. Musicians of any instrument are invited to the Guthrie Center Activity Center next Tuesday, June 23rd from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to play music and enjoy listening to each other. Even if you don’t play an instrument, the public is invited to come and listen.
