The Greene County high school baseball and softball teams were postponed on the road at PCM on Monday due to poor field conditions following rain earlier in the day. Softball in Monroe is set to be made up on Friday, June 19 with JV at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity around 7:30 p.m. The PCM and Greene County baseball JV/varsity action is scheduled for a July 3 make up date with JV at 5:15 p.m. and varsity at 7:15 p.m. July 3 is a holiday for many since Independence Day falls on a Saturday.

The Rams are in non-conference action tonight as long as the weather will cooperate. Softball is on K107 around 7:45 p.m. in Adel vs. Class 4A number 5 ADM. Greene County is 12-1 and ranked number 3 in 3A.

Greene County baseball is at home tonight in Jefferson at Allensworth Field vs. Southeast Valley (Gowrie) with JV at 5:15 p.m. and varsity to follow.
