Voters across the state will elect new school board representatives this fall, though those wanting to be on the ballot need to take action this summer.
There are three positions open for election on September 8th in the Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District.
The filing period beings on Monday, July 6th and all paperwork needs to be turned in to the county auditor by July 31st at 5pm. In the ADM school district, candidates need at least 50 signatures of support to have their name on the ballot.
The school board secretary is the filing officer for candidate nomination papers, but the auditor’s office is also available to serve as a resource.
