The win put the Rams, ranked fourth in Class 3A, at 15-2 and they remain unbeaten in the HOIAC at 10-0. PCM, the 2014 league champion, dropped four games behind the Rams in the loss column at 7-4 in the HOIAC..

Emma Saddoris doubled for the Rams only extra base hit. She also singled twice and was the only player on either team with more than two hits. Six other Rams had two hits apiece including Carleigh Paup, Kayla Mobley, Emily Christensen, Marissa Promes, Jenna Beyers, and Bailey Godwin.Hannah Onken and Tressa Rasmussen each singled once and every Ram starter hit safely. Christensen drove in three runs while, Beyers, and Onken each had two RBI with one run batted in by Paup, Mobley, and Godwin.

Marissa Promes was the winning pitcher. In seven innings she gave up two earned runs on six hits and a walk. Promes struck out eight Mustangs.

The Rams swept the two-game season series from the Mustangs by scoring single runs in the second and fourth innings, three in the fifth, two in the sixth, and three more in the seventh. Both PCM runs were in the fourth inning.
