This season hasn’t proven to be an especially strong one for Guthrie County’s five high school softball teams. None of the schools are ranked, or listed as receiving votes in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s (IGHSAU) weekly rankings. In fact, when you include all of the West Central Conference, which Panorama, Guthrie Center and West Central Valley belong to, the only team that makes an appearance is Ogden. They receive votes in the Class 2A rankings. The IGHSAU typically releases new sets of rankings each Friday afternoon.
