With less than a week to go for regular season softball, none of Guthrie County’s five high school softball teams garnered a mention in the latest Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Rankings. Between West Central Valley, Guthrie Center, Adair-Casey, Coon Rapids-Bayard and Panorama, just one softball team has a winning record this season. That’s the Panthers of Panorama. Just one team from the West Central Conference, which Panorama, West Central Valley and Guthrie Center belong to, made the IGHSAU’s rankings this week, Des Moines Christian is the 15th ranked team in Class 2-A.
