Annual Benefit Flier-July2015-REVISED-page-001A benefit will take place in Panora this weekend for a nonprofit organization with the goal of helping children with life threatening illnesses. President Bill Ridgley says Tori’s Angels pays all medical expenses for terminally ill kids in Iowa. “What we do is if the child is accepted, we take them on until their 19th birthday and we pay for all of their copay, all of their deductibles. We pay for all travel expenses like airline fees, hotel accommodations and food for the child and the parent, to get the life saving care anywhere in the continental United States.”

The group’s benefit breakfast and silent auction will take place Sunday from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Panora Community Center. Ridgley will tell us more about it today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com
