fairassociationIt’s day two of the 2015 Dallas County Fair.

The first event of the day is the sheep show in the show ring at 8am.  Static exhibits and silent auction items will be on display all day and the carnival opens at 10:30am.  The afternoon events include the goat and bucket and bottle calf shows, along with an insect zoo from 3-5pm, free popcorn at the Iowa State University Conservation Station from 3-7pm and the livestock judging contest at 6:30pm.

This evening’s entertainment is bull riding and barrel racing in the south arena starting at 7pm, followed by live music from Dirt Road Divide featuring Dave Miller.

Gate admission is free, though rodeo admission is $10 for adults and $7 for kids.

Raccoon Valley Radio will be there all day broadcasting live with event information and fair results.
