Promes retired the first 13 batters she faced and it looked as though she may through a five-inning perfect game, but a dropped fly ball gave the Indians their first base runner. She now has 215 strikeouts to just 38 walks on the season.

They hit several balls hard in the fifth and sixth, but mostly at fielder’s and weren’t able to shorten the game. The Rams had three errors, one in the fifth and two in the seventh. Greene County was the home team and therefore, did not bat in the seventh.
