Guthrie Center and Coon Rapids Bayard have both been eliminated in the first round of the Class 1A softball tournament. Coon Rapids-Bayard was run over by a Newell-Fonda, falling by a score of 17-0. Guthrie Center faced off against cross-county rival Adair-Casey and lost 4-2. Guthrie Center ends their season with a record of 4-21, Coon Rapids-Bayard ends with a record of 3-21.
