A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of North 17th Street in Grand Junction for a barking dog concern.
A deputy was dispatched to remove a deer carcass from the roadway on 235th Street near S Avenue.
Saturday, July 11th
A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a male fishing near the McMahon Access. The male was floating the river fishing and advised a relative that he was safe.
A deputy was dispatched to the 1000 block of Eagle Street in Scranton to speak with a female about a personal property civil issue concern.
A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a possible fight in progress call in the 200 block of North Oak Street in Jefferson.
Sunday, July 12th
A deputy checked an abandoned vehicle on 235th Street west of Jefferson and had the vehicle towed to the City impound lot in Jefferson.
A deputy assisted a driver with a vehicle that was experiencing mechanical problems on 330th Street and G Avenue.
Two deputies assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a possible domestic abuse assault call in Jefferson.
Two deputies responded to a party in progress at the Black’s Pits Gravel area west of Jefferson. After an investigation and conducting field sobriety the deputy’s arrested Jessica Amber Montoya 20, of Churdan, for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor Under 21 – 1st Offense and Travis Ryan Armstrong 26, of Jefferson, for Possession of Controlled Substance – Cannabidiol – 2nd Offense. A juvenile was also taken to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center for release to his parents.
A deputy was advised of an erratic and careless driver on S Avenue near 170th Street. The vehicle was later located and the deputy initiated a traffic stop on that vehicle after viewing his driving. The driver was warned about his driving and issued a citation for No Proof of Security against Liability.
Deputies were advised of a careless driver on 220th Street near E Avenue. The vehicle and driver were located and evaluated.
A deputy was advised of the theft of a 4-wheel ATV from the 1600 block of 110th Street.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
