The Coon Rapids-Bayard baseball team was convincing in their 9-1 victory while hosting Exira-EHK in the Class 1A District 16 final Saturday. With the win, the Crusaders head to Harlan Tuesday night to face Council Bluff St. Alberts in substate action. Coon Rapids-Bayard heads into the contest with a 28-6 record. St Alberts is 25-12. First pitch scheduled for 7 pm.
