In just less than three weeks, thousands will flock to Adel for their annual summer celebration.
The 2015 Sweet Corn Festival takes place in downtown Adel on Saturday, August 8th.
There will be no shortage of entertainment options throughout the day, starting with Doug James and the Pocket performing on the Adel Stage from 11am-2pm. He will be followed by the Adel Tumbling and Dance Club and Let’s Dance of Adel. That night, the beer garden will open at six, followed my live music from Monkey, Monkey, Monkey and the Flying Marsupials.
In addition, Sparklehoop Dance will perform in the lawn from noon to 2pm, followed by the Sugar Creek Cloggers.
The event’s annual commemorative t-shirts are also now available. You can pick one up for $15 at City Hall, various businesses in town or at the festival.
