Spring Lake Park will soon look a little like winter with a Christmas in July contest.

Organizer Mike Daisy welcomes all campers to decorate their campsites at the park, with a Christmas-theme, on Saturday, July 25th.  There’s no limit on the number of decorations, but it must be contained on your campsite.  Both recreational vehicles and tents are acceptable.

There’s no pre-registration needed, just show up at the campgrounds and set up Saturday morning.  Judging will take place that evening.  Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place in two categories: those on the west side of the park and those who camp on the east side.

While you’re at the park, Daisy adds that you can enjoy skating, swimming, fishing, canoeing and there will be a barbecue meal on the beach on Saturday.
