The season has ended for all five of Guthrie County’s softball teams and it’s time to take a look at the individual leaders from the County’s five schools; Guthrie Center, Panorama, West Central Valley, Adair-Casey and Coon Rapids-Bayard. The county’s individual hitting champion is Coon Rapids-Bayard senior Kelsey Winnett, who posted an amazing batting average of .535. Winnett also led all Guthrie County players in home runs with 4 and runs batted in with 39. Panorama Freshman Kellie Prince drew the most walks in the county, with 18, and West Central Valley senior Olivia McAtee’s 20 steals were the most in Guthrie County. We’ll take a look at the top pitchers this softball season in Guthrie County during the Raccoon Valley Radio sports page on Thursday.
