There’s still time to register for the annual Greene County Chamber Golf Outing.

Tourism and Events Coordinator Angie Pedersen says the event will be on Friday, July 31st at the Jefferson Community Golf Course.  Chamber members can register a four-person team for $175, which includes lunch and dinner.  Members can also be hole sponsors for $125.  She adds that they are looking for prize donations as well.

Team and hole sponsor registration forms are available at the Chamber office in Jefferson.  The deadline to sign up is by July 30th.

The golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 11am.  Contests and prizes will be given out during and after the outing.
