As previously reported, Guthrie County 4-Hers recently attended the annual static judging day at the fairgrounds to receive ribbons for their exhibits. From art, to woodwork and food, many different items were on display. Cameron Laughery is a 16 year old 4-Her from Guthrie Center and put her culinary skills on display, with a recipe of major sentimental value. “I also baked some oatmeal bread that my great grandma had years ago. It’s going in the food and nutrition category. I chose that project because I love to bake and it’s something I wanted to pass down and keep alive.”
Laughery and two other local 4-Her’s will join us today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County to talk about their fair exhibits. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com
