The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office is now operating at full force. Deputy Steven Henry’s first day was Monday, July 13th. He is the second of two deputies hired with the funds that will be collected this fiscal year from a 28E agreement for the County to provide law enforcement to the City of Guthrie Center. Henry is a three year veteran of the Decatur County Sheriff’s office and has recently become a resident of Stuart. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office now includes six full-time deputies, in addition to Sheriff Marty Arganbright, Chief Deputy Jeremy Bennett and Jailer Michael Herbert.
