Wild Rose Jefferson continues to be on track to open by its anticipated August 1st date.

General Manager Mike Couch says the response from the casino soft opening has been very positive.

“They’re really happy to have a casino right there in Jefferson.  Some of the local folks, or even the folks from the surrounding towns and cities like Carroll, have all said that they’re very happy to have this amenity so close to their home.”

As for the Coaches Corner lounge and the Greene Room Event Center, Couch points out that they are about 70 percent complete.  He highlights one major feature that the lounge will include.

“The biggest centerpiece will be the projection television screen that you’ll see which is about 16-feet.  It’s going to be flanked by four, 70-inch T.V.s.  And that’s where we’re going to be showing a lot of sporting events and activities that are going on that we can show and display in the bar itself.”

The events center can seat about 480 for dining and 1,000 people for concerts.  It can also be separated into four smaller rooms for other events and meetings for rental.

Couch notes that all three portions of the 70,000-square foot facility will be open to the public on August 1st, with a grand opening planned for August 7th through the 9th.
