Funeral Services for Fred Christensen, 79, of Bayard, Iowa will be 11:30 am Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, Iowa. Interment will be at Richland Township Cemetery, Guthrie County, Iowa. Visitation will begin after 9:00 am on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Memorials are suggested to the Bayard Public Library or the Leukemia Foundation.

Fred is survived by his wife Dana of Bayard, Iowa; three children: Lorra Browne, Flint (Jennifer) Christensen, and Lisa Risner, all of California; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law: Ramona Kraft and Janice Kraft.
