Those looking for a way to get involved in the community are encouraged to consider joining the Perry Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Executive Director Bob Wilson say there is one current vacancy on the board, as well as a vice president position, due to the resignation of Darin Schoop.
“If you have someone you would like to nominate, or perhaps it’s yourself, get a hold of me at the Chamber (office) or get a hold of a board member. It’s a great opportunity to promote the community, to promote your business, really give back and continue to make Perry the great place that it is.”
Interested parties are invited to stop by the Chamber office or call 465-4601 for more information. The Board of Directors meets at noon the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
