Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says it was a fun and safe year at Guthrie’s River Ruckus. He says law enforcement’s main goal is to keep alcohol away from underaged invididuals at the annual event, while allowing those 21 and older to enjoy themselves safely and responsibly. “We had less minor in possession citations, and that’s our goal. We had less arrests. We’re there to keep people safe. It’s not all about the arrests. We just want people to have a good time and be safe while they do that.”
Arganbright adds that there were six operating while intoxicated arrests near the campgrounds during the three day festival.
