A golf tournament for a good cause will tee off in Perry next weekend.
The Trent Miner Memorial Golf Tournament takes place at the Perry Golf and County Club Sunday, August 9th.
The event pairs parents and children together for a fun and competitive day. Pairs with kids ages 13 and under will tee off at 9am and the cost is $10 per person.
Older children will tee off at 1pm and the cost is $25.
Prizes will be awarded for longest drives, longest putts, closest to the pin and more.
There will also be a silent auction and raffle prizes.
All proceeds from the event go toward the Trent Miner Scholarship Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Caring Bridge.
