Details on this year’s Dallas County Reads One Book program have been announced.
We previously reported that New York Times best selling author C.J. Box will be in Perry for the event this fall. The twelve libraries in Dallas County encourage everyone to read Box’s novel Blue Heaven before the two-part special event on Thursday, September 17th.
Book discussions and programs will take place over the coming weeks at libraries across the County and the grand finale will start with a ticketed author read and meet at the Hotel Pattee. Attendees can purchase a $12 ticket to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while hearing from Box at the Hotel.
The author will then move to the Perry Performing Arts Center for a free talk at 7pm.
