After falling to Martensdale-St. Mary’s in the first round of the Class 1A state baseball tournament, Coon Rapids-Bayard looks ready to make another state run next year. The Crusaders, who finished this season with an impressive record of 29-7, are losing just one senior, Eric Bruellman, to graduation. The Crusaders’ strength is their pitching and the ace duo of Owen Pevestorf and Josh Esdohr should be even better next year as seniors.
