The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office has been providing law enforcement to the City of Guthrie Center for one month. As we told you last week, City officials think the patrolling deputies are  doing a good job and Sheriff Marty Arganbright agrees. He says Guthrie Center calls are responded to even faster now than they were with the police department, because somebody is always on patrol. “With Guthrie Center, we have a deputy already out when that call comes in, so we can respond quickly. They’re not at home on call anymore, so that’s good. The whole thing has been as good as I thought it would be, if not better.”
