Tentative Iowa High School Volleyball classifications are out and Greene County ranks number 12 in Class 3A, the middle of the five classes. Greene County has 324 students from last Fall’s BEDS document that is used for classifying teams for the upcoming 2015-16 school year.

Nevada and Saydel (Des Moines) are tied for seventh in 3A with 335 students and are the largest Heart of Iowa Activities Conference schools with Greene County third. Other HOIAC schools and their enrollments used for volleyball classifications are Gilbert 314, North Polk (Alleman) 294, Roland-Story (Story City) 231, PCM (Monroe) 218, CMB (Maxell) 209. South Hamilton (Jewell) is the smallest school in the nine-team conference with a BEDS figure of 162, ranking them tied for fiftieth in Class 2A.
