School will be back in session in three days at all Guthrie County schools and that means hundreds of kids standing on the side of roads every morning. Sheriff Marty Arganbright urges drivers to know where bus stops are located and says awareness is key for this school year to be a safe one. “You just got to keep in mind that school’s back in session, and there’s going to be buses out there and kids getting on and off of them. Be cautious when you drive around, that’s what you need to do, always keep it in mind.”
As an added safety measure, Arganbright says there are signs posted to recognize rural bus stops that aren’t easily visible.
