An Adel teen remains in critical condition after a two vehicle crash Friday evening.
Iowa State Patrol Sergeant Nathan Ludwig tells Raccoon Valley Radio a 15 year-old male from Adel was heading northbound on K Avenue when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 44. He was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by 41 year-old Ryan Wedemeyer of Johnston.
The teen was transported via Life Flight helicopter to a Des Moines hospital where he remains.
The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
