A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a window at the FC Cooperative in Churdan.

A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Main Street in Scranton to help mediate a verbal domestic altercation.

A deputy was dispatched to the 2300 block of Neola Avenue to investigate a reported suspicious blue pickup.

A deputy was unable to locate a reported suspicious white car driving erratically around Scranton.

Saturday, August 22nd

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with locating a male subject that was reported to be dangerously close to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks on North Wilson Street.  It was determined that the male subject was off railroad property and taking pictures of trains as they passed by.

A deputy, while on routine patrol, was northbound on W Avenue when a deer ran onto the roadway near 260th Street and was struck by the deputy’s patrol vehicle. There was no damage to the vehicle and no report was needed.

A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of Anyer Street in Dana to help mediate a domestic verbal altercation.

Sunday, August 23rd

A deputy was asked to speak with a resident about an assault that occurred in Greene County.

A deputy spoke with a Grand Junction resident in the 700 block of 11th Street South about a child custody and harassment concern.

A deputy spoke with a Grand Junction resident in the 500 block of South 9th Street about his receiving harassing phone calls.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1900 block of R Avenue for the report of fireworks being let off. The deputy advised the resident that without a permit it is illegal to ignite the fireworks.

A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle on 230th Street near S Avenue.

In all case when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
