As we’ve reported, West Central Valley’s varsity boys soccer coach, Jon Boss, has accepted a position as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Wartburg College. Activities Director Tod Broman says the now vacant boys soccer head coaching job has been posted on a state database, but he’s in no hurry to fill the position. “Probably won’t be until January, maybe, that we look at candidates, if we get them. It’s hard to say and we’ll just have to wait and see how many people apply.”

Whoever is the next head coach of the West Central Valley boys soccer team will inherit a talented squad that finished last season with an impressive 12-3 record and went to the state tournament in 2014.
