A deputy was dispatched to check the report of lights being left on in a business in the 300 block of East Division Street in Grand Junction. The building was found to be secure.
A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an accident at the intersection of North Maple and Adams Street.
A deputy was dispatched to Grand Junction for the report of a pet pig running at large on East Main Street near 14th Street. The owner of the pig was advised and retrieved the elusive swine.
A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department Chief extinguished a reported burning pile of clothing along the side of the roadway on 222nd Street near Pioneer Avenue.
Thursday, August 27th
A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of State Street in Scranton to investigate the report of a party with loud music. The residents were advised to turn the volume down.
A deputy was advised of an alarm activation at the Greene County Intermediate School in Grand Junction. The building was found to be secure.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
