The Perry volleyball team will look to keep last year’s momentum going tonight when they open the season on the road at Fort Dodge St Edmond.  The Jayettes lost 5 seniors off a team that turned around a 7-31 season 2 years ago to finishing a promising 18-17 last year.  2nd year Head Coach Kristel Kautzky-Schultz will look to senior hitters Ellie Nielsen and Victoria Hegstrom to pick up the offense.  Nielsen finished with 167 kills and 188 digs last year while Hegstrom added 133 digs and 67 kills.  Junior Grace Marburger is back to give Perry an athletic front line with both Adrian Thompson and Taylor Lathrum in line to see action.  Action gets underway tonight at 5:30 in Fort Dodge.
