An annual fall tradition will continue in Dallas County next month.
The 18th annual Prairie Awakening Celebration takes place Saturday, September 12th at the Kuehn Conservation Area.
The Native American event will include songs, dance and stories about the first people to the area. A meal of fry bread and Indian tacos will also be served.
Admission is free and there’s no registration necessary.
