West Central Valley’s new head football coach Eric Addy has his team ready to go for their first game of the season tomorrow night against Des Moines Christian. Addy says Des Moines Christian is similar in style to the Madrid team his squad scrimmaged against and believes he has the game plan and personnel that can lead to a victory. “What they do is pretty similar to what Madrid does, and we’ll have to play technically sound football and do our jobs. If we go out there and execute, there’s no reason we can’t get a win. Personnel-wise we match up well. We are a very athletically similar team to Des Moines Christian.”

Friday’s game against Des Moines Christian is set to kick off at 7 p.m. at Johnston High School.
